Welcome to Soroptimist International of Modesto, (SIOM), a 501(c)3 non-profit service organization. We are part of a worldwide organization, Soroptimist International. Our members strive to achieve the mission by sharing our time, talents and financial resources to enrich our communities.
Mission: Soroptimist is a Global Volunteer Organization that works to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social & economic empowerment
Vision: Women and girls have the resources and opportunities to reach their full potential and live their dreams.
While giving back to our community is our primary focus, weekly meetings offer professional opportunities and networking for our members. We also provide several scholarships and awards which are given each year to high school and college age students.
Come and see what we are all about!
Our meetings are on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays of each month from 12:15 to 1:15 at the Season’s, 945 McHenry Avenue, Modesto.
